Hey all,
I was thinking that we need to get more VCDs out there to Hip fans. I have 15+ 2002 recordings and other boots from PJ, Janes Addiction, Tool, NEW GN'R. I would love to trade for some of these for Hip VCDs, plus I have a couple of Pearl Jam VCD's (2001: first ever "I am Mine performance).
Thanks for your time,
Greg

hi all, new here, looking for some help. not the best with computers....if i download a show from the ftp, how can i get the whole show, instead of individual songs/files, so there is no gap between songs??? i'd like to download the show first, listen to it on my laptop, then burn it on cd if i like it.

thanks

I didn't get the setlist but no surpises, no double encore.
Ahead By A Century was the 1st song of the encore (Chagrin Falls was originally slotted there but scratched out for ABAC)

I kinda feel sorry for the band and how they're being received here in Canada. In Violet Light is a brilliant album. It just doesn't fit into today's musical climate. "Its's A Good Life..." is a phenomenal song, but it doesn't sound like anything else that is popular right now. To me it has kind of a "Grace, Too" feel to it, and I think if it was released five years ago, it would have been a huge hit.

Hey folks, I'm new to the list. I'm going to Montreal with my bf to see the October 12th show. I'm excited cause I'm a newbee to hip and can't wait to see them in such a small venue and meet all these crazy rabid hipsters my bf talks about.

Is anyone else going to be there??

Serena

I have 4 tickets for sale for this Thursday's theatre show in Edmonton (Sept. 26th). They are in the 6th row dead center! Please drool over this tickets, then buy them. If not, please do me a tremendous favour and put the word out.
Thanks!

Does anybody have the "At the Quinte Hotel" short that aired on Bravo Canada a while back? It's a Gordie enactment of the Al Purdy poem. I've been searching for a while but haven't found it anywhere and wouldn't mind using it in the classroom...sort of teach the students that poetry isn't just a bunch of old dead people, but it can be, pardon the pun, hip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. hope i'm not posting this in the wrong forum...if i am apologies in advance.
