anyone know the backup vocals for poets or meridian?

Ok now i usually listen to the hip but in the last week i have seen things that remind me of the hip . Wanted to know if anyone else has these things happened to them?
mine are : 1. reading the paper ( Buffalo News) and reading about a company that is researching the upstate area for oil they are based in Chagrin Falls , Ohio.
2. looking out the window at work last week on a windy day and in the tree is a garbage bag so i keep saying in my head garbage bag trees , whispers of disease.

3. watching espn hockey tonight and in the opening john buchgross (sp)
says the tragically hip ( while showing a hip check) now mind you he always says band names in reference to the hockey but its the hip this time.

Beanmedic and I had a discussion last night on M$ Messenger about this song. I only have the mp3 and not the show. It is one of, if not my favourite live NOIS. Sounds like a soundboard recording. Anyone know which show/date it's from? Either late 80's or early 90's. Thanks!
