Just heard on 680 news that the hip will be playing a benefit show on June 21 in Toronto with Avril and Shania, and others to be announced. I didn't catch any other details (location/cost/...).

Anyone else hear this?

C.

Hey all,
My husband and I are going to be unable to go to the Neil Young concert on Monday, June 23 at the Air Canada Centre. (we own a business and our coverage fell through Cry )
Anyway, we have 2 pairs..sold together or separately. All we are asking is face value...what we paid..$60 Canadian each (41.75 US)
The seats are in section 321, Row 13, seats 7, 8 ,9,&10. I wanted to see if any of you wanted the tickets before we put them on ebay, I believe the concert is sold out. Please let me know if any of you are interested ASAP, because we will need to list them soon.
Thanks! -Jen

"To support the new album, Downie and his band The Country Miracles will be touring up a storm. On the same day his album is released Downie will be playing the White Ribbon Benefit in Toronto and will also be participating in a songwriting circle at Toronto’s Rivoli. After the release he is embarking on a tour that will have festival and club dates in Canada and the United States. There are promises of more shows to come so keep checking Downie’s official website for the updates. And just in case you miss a show, Downie will be recording all of the live performances from this tour and posting them on the web within a week of them happening"

Jake's a judge on canadian idol for those of us who don't know.

I was planning on going to make an ass of myself for shits and giggles, but I decided it wasn't worth missing the day of school, heh.

Just thought I'd post about it, opinions?
