Hey all...
I had the opportunity to meet Gord at the 6/27/03 show in Philly because a meet and greet was hosted if you bought a copy of BOTN at the show. I was curious if this occured anywhere/everywhere else?

Don't know how many Rush fans there are out there, but they just released there live concert from Rio, there last gig on a 66 show tour. The DVD comes with a documentary as well, which presents testimony of their life on the road. A couple of surprises:
- Neil Pearts arms haven't fallen off yet, hope I can drum half as well as that when I'm 25, let alone 55,
- The median age of Rush fans in Brazil seems to be about half of that in Canada, I'd say 18-22.
- Neil Peart talks like a remotely concious Stephen Hawking. Probably the smartest man I've ever seen on TV.
- I like Rush, they're good (no surprise there)
Is Gord playing anywhere near Buffalo any time soon? I saw him once solo...not too shabby.
I'm looking for a computer...nothing special but preferably one that is faster than 1ghz. If anyone has anything drop me a line.
later days.
I don't know about good costumes but I'll tell you about the most tasteless costume I ever saw...
At a party I was at once a guy showed up in golf clothes (plaid knickers and a floppy hat) painted really grey with a airplane propeller blade sticking out of his head, and when asked he told us he was Payne Stewart...this about a month after his accident.
We kicked him out
Jesse (aka Stickboy, Pig On Tour)
and I wonder how many other shows they have recorded like this? That show is DVD quality, lots of other bands release DVDs of that quality. Why not The Hip?
Only having one is just not right for all us downloading hip freaks. I,m sure there are people that cant even get on. What happened to the idea of some other people starting ftp sites. (in previous posts).
ps. I will kill for the orginal cobo hall live between us boot. Rory had it but he said it wouldnt copy because of the scrathes on it. ANYONE ELSE HAVE IT??
is there a reason there is no setlist posted for this show?

Well, I recently stumbled upon this site. At first I was bit reluctant to join the forum, but then I thought to myself, "Hey, what is better than talking to people who also worship the best band to have ever graced this earth". So here Iam introducing myself. My name is Ché {pronounced Chay}. It's a spanish name and is well known in parts of Cuba because of Ché Guevarra. Iam not cuban nor do I possess any latin american roots.
I currently live in Buffalo and have been a hip fan for quite some time now. I guess that's all I have to say.
later days.
If anyone could upload the 2000 show in central park to hundrethmeridian.com it would be Greatly appreciated!!! I lost my copy!!
