Hey all.
Tonight was one of guilty pleasures...ben & jerry's and the breakfast club. :oops: I was watching with a friend who had never seen it before and she asked me why Claire (Molly Ringwald's character) was in detention in the first place. I coudn't answer her...could anyone help me out? Thanks!

I have been wondering this for ages. Stereo is one of my favourite unofficial songs of the Hip's...the pre-Phantom Power version of Escape Is At Hand. But although I have the original NOIS medley from which it came, the standalone version I have gotten from a couple of sources has these terrible, loud black noise bits over four swear words in the song. It's incredibly irritating...I always lose myself in the song and then am jolted back to reality by those bits. That, and it really sounds screwy in my headphones, always have to skip the song when listening to the CDs it is on in my discman.
Who the heck censored this and why?? It's a mid-song bridge and the recording is lower quality, it's not like it was ever going to get played on the radio. Does anybody know?

Question for anyone who knows... There used to be a web site that sold t shirts based on The Hip's cover art, does anyone have the address or know what happened to it? You could personalize shirts, etc and i would love to find the site if it still exists. Last time i used it was about 3 years ago... Thanks for any help given

Hey all...
I was between classes today reading Coke Machine Glow for the umpteenth time, and I was wondering what the Hipbasers have to say about Gord's literary effot. I personally love the book...some poems more than others...but that is to be expected. My top (three) favorites (beacuse I can't choose just one), would have to be Some Days the World Can Be the Greatest Place on Earth, Gift Advice, and This Empty House. As far as lyrics go, Starpainters, Insomniacs, and Yer Posessed, get me everytime.
