Listen to the voice-over guy in the new Chevrolet Optra commercial; the one where the couple open the sun roof, their hats fly off, and they both have hat head.
I swear that it's Hugh Dillon. I guess the voice-over industry is more lucrative than I thought.
And it's for a good cause, too...

Hey all. I was just going through some of the mp3 files that I have, trying to figure out what I want to keep and delete, when I stumbled across what has to be my favorite "musical" of all time. Now, before everyone collectively rolls their eyes, hear me out. Its called The Last 5 Years and its absolutely brilliant. It was directed by Jason Robert Brown, an amazing talent, and is just such a great, simple story. There are two characters, Cathy, and Jamie, and it tracks their 5 year relationship from both sides. His story starts and the beginning, and her's at the end. Its just heartbreaking and witty and beautiful. Its a must listen, or if its ever in your town, a must see. :thumb:

Now, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth - I know I get loads of free entertainment from the stuff on the FTP - but has anybody else noticed the huge number of corrupt SHNs that will not convert to WAV? I'm finding them in almost every one out of three concerts. Burlington 2000, Halifax 2000, Hartford, Road Apples Premiere, FC Premiere...is there anything that can be done about these? I mean, it is the file and not my computer, right? I was actually hoping I might have incorrect settings or something. I like to DL one SHN from a show and listen to it to see if the quality's good enough to get the whole show, but increasingly I find that the first one I download does not work...like M@W in Burlington. There's at least half a dozen flawed files in Halifax.

Hi all, just something cute that made me smile...
I went to Starbucks this afternoon since it is the *only* place to buy coffee on campus other than the dining halls (bleh) and they had put out the holiday cups and cardboard insulators, and the insulator that was on my cup said, " a cup of coffee to warm ten cold fingers"...almost needless to say it reminded me of the lyrics from Josephine (...trying to let that coffee cup warm your hands...) and made me smile. That's all from me for now...just wanted to share.

I was wondering, before I spend hours and hours downloading the SHNs...if there's more than one entry for a show on the FTP (there are 2 copies of 2000-08-05 Bolton Amphitheatre, Burlington VT for example) does that mean there's 2 different recordings? There are a number of duplicate shows and I was wondering if it's worth downloading both to see if one's better quality, but then I thought...why not ask and save days worth of time!
Hey guy's, let's try and see who can find the worst baby name.
My friend was telling me about this one, it's so completely brutal that I just had to share. Jason Lee, actor from films such as "Chasing Amy", "Almost Famous", "Clerks" etc, had a baby and named him Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf Lee. I have no idea what would possess you to name your kid Pilot???
cratch: Wow and I thought Precious angel was bad.
