Over the last 3 Hip albums, my ears have noticed a change in the way Gord has been singing.
I am unable to put a finger on it, but it seems to be a style that's different from everything prior to TATH.
Gord used to belt songs out like Nautical Disaster, Fully Completely and loads of others but with the band putting out albums that have been toned down a notch, there seems to be less need to have Gord blast them out.
There are songs that are exceptions like Music At Work, Silver Jet and of course live performances are a different story as well as we all now how awesome Gord is live.
With that said, i do love the way Gord sings and i am in no way complaining but i am just curious if this is something any of you fellow Hipbasers have picked up on as well.
Anyone catch this marathon today on Spike TV?
I just started watching and it's hilarious! Love seeing people bite the dust over and over. I already knew they had some strange gameshows over there but this one takes the cake.
I just did a little searching on the web for some guy named Cameron from Kingston. Check this website out.

I was looking on the site. Go to 2003 artwork, portfolio 2 and it's the 11th piece of artwork down on the left handside.
Kind of crazy piece!! Very funky and colorful
I listen to Howard Stern religiously. Anyone in here feel what the US gov't is doing is unjust, or right?? Secondly, did anyone hear the broadcast this morning (april 1st), and Howard's antics. I thought it was brilliant, not only as a joke, but as an attempt to show the public that radio would suck without him, and also to show the uproar it would cause if he was actually booted off airwaves. Thoughts??
I admire this guys discipline
...But question his sanity.
As taken from the CBC
TORONTO - A very cautious Southern Ontario man has won the largest jackpot in Canadian history.
Raymond Sobeski waited almost an entire year before coming forward to claim his prize of $30 million because, he says, he didn't want to "do anything rash."
He won the staggering prize on the Super 7 draw on April 11, 2003. Now the ex-farmer and self-employed computer repairman, says he's ready to become a multimillionaire.
When he was asked how he felt Sobeski - who will only say he's "in his 40s" - said, "A little numb, actually. A little surreal. It doesn't feel like it's really happening."
Sobeski bought the winning ticket at his local corner store in Princeton, Ont., near Brantford. When he found out he had won "I tried to stay calm, not do anything rash."
He says he checked and verified the numbers "about 200 times."
Sobeski held on to the ticket for so long before stepping forward that it was set to expire in less than two weeks.
Lottery officials say they've never had anyone wait so long to cash in, but they understand.
"You know what I think," said Kathy Pittman of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, "he's just a guy that takes his time to make any large decisions. And I guess, ultimately, this is the largest decision he'll ever have to make."
Canada's newest multimillionaire says he wants to take care of his elderly parents, his siblings, and do some travelling.

I'm happy as hell about the new cd coming out, but that tour schedule is a bit frightening. If they don't get out this summer into Canada, we wouldn't be able to expect them until the winter of 2005... all of a sudden three months doesn't seem so far away...
Okay, I am pretty certain that the front page news regarding the US tour dates is fake. Thanks alot Lance, I actually started getting excited

Hey all
This gem was in the Queen's Journal today. Now, I know that the Journal isn't the greatest newspaper in North America, but this seems legit.
A quick synopsis:
The album is called In Between Evolution
The single is Vaccination Scar and is due out next week
The release date is June 29!!
