...oh goodie! I just got a new iPod this morning for my birthday. It's super, super nice to have all of the Hip's CDs, plus a ton of their live shows and some other boots in the palm of my hand now. What a great invention!!!!
Not sure if yall heard of this already but on Sept.14 on the Documentary Channel a show called " I am Trying to Break Your Heart" is playing. It basically documents the recording of I think their latest CD, whats it called again? I know Ghost is in the title..... if you tune into D.C. you'll catch the trailer........ :mrgreen:
I have been looking to buy a couple Neil Young Albums for a while. Anyone have any recommendations as to the essential albums?

Ok, so everytime I tell someone about The Hip and how excited I am to see them tour, I get the same response.....
First, they look at me like an idiot because I would travel all the way to New Orleans to see them.
And then they ask, "what kind of music do they play?".
I really don't like to categorize thier music. But for the sake of people who ask....how would you best describe it?
