This might seem like an incredibly basic question, but how the heck do you line up photos side by side on a webpage?? I have built two photo sites and for both of them, I have to have the photographs in a list, single file, going down. I have figured out the comments to centre things left and right, but at the very best now I only have the ability to have two pictures on opposite sides of the page with a gap in between. I'm talking about making a page of thumbnails that link to individual pictures, so I need to put five or six little pictures beside each other, evenly spaced.

I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer! I HAVE been to some "HTML for dummies" style sites, but nothing I have found works!

You maritime guys get the email about presale? I just saw it. It's pretty cool that even though there is no real ticket sight online that we can still get tickets early.

Does anyone know of any Sam Roberts recordings or DVD's that can be downloaded?

One great thing about The Tragically Hip is when they tour they usually have an amazing Canadian opening band, like the Watchmen and Sam Roberts.
Sam Roberts has quickly became one of my favorite bands and a few shows in my collection would be spectacular.

Hey Lance just just a suggestion but maybe we can have a section dedicated to hip covers that way if people make them they can share them with others. I know that there's the hipcover.com web site which i think is great but maybe it would get more exposure on the hipbase. It would also be nice to have a section of photos from each show that way if people want to make a cover from that show than they can use the actual pictures from that show to make the cover. i'm not sure if this would require too much space...if it does what about having a section for covers and another for pictures where people can post a link to their website if they have one.

I notice that's twice now that the band chooses to open with Makeshift. That's really good news. Could this possibly mean that by the time the Canadian tour starts, we'll be hearing "Makeshift" getting regular airplay on the radio as the next single?

What a fantastic song to open with.
