I found this funny Canadian satire site called _ The Untrue North <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.untruenorth.com">http://www.untruenorth.com</a><!-- m --> It has funny fake news stories every week.

And they take submissions - so if any one writes - they could put some Hip stuff on the site. That would be so cool. They had some Gino Vinelli story a couple of weeks ago - so something hip related would be a nice change.

if anyone is looking to get rid of extra tickets for the Nov. 27th show in london i'm looking to get a pair hopefully without supporting the jerks on ebay or scalpers.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been 'lurking' and reading posts for a while now, but figured it was time I jumped in!

Was directed to The Hip many years ago by some Canadian friends and have been enjoying them ever since.

Never seen them live - I don't think they have ever toured New Zealand (and I have never had the money to go overseas to see the band!) - but have played the live album a lot!!! (" . . . I enjoy them vicariously . . .")

Anyway, I look forward to being a part of this community.

I recorded last night's show but my battery died right before Fire in the Hole (you think you're disappointed? Hole is one of my favourite songs and last night's was amazing.)

If someone else out there got a complete recording I'd rather that one got released instead. I don't think anyone wants a complete and an incomplete version floating around.

So if you did record the show and are going to release it please mention it here, otherwise I'll set up a BitTorrent on the weekend.

Anyone have some good internet radio stations you listen to? I can't get enough of <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.radioparadise.com">www.radioparadise.com</a><!-- w --> lately. So many great tunes on there.

Sometimes I wouldn't mind mixing it up with some other stuff though like more 90's rock stuff. Nirvana, Soundgarden, AIC and that kinda stuff. Anyone know of a good station to get that kinda stuff? or any other good stations for that matter?
