What an asswipe. Picking that midget Dickenson over Printers and punting with under two minutes left on third down. Loser.
So it can only be a matter of time before an American network picks up on this ratings cow... so who's it gunna be: Lincoln, Kennedy, King, Edison, FDR, Matt Groening, Mr. Rogers?
I'm thinking George Washington might win it...
So there were a surprising number of folks perched on the bridge peering into Frank Clair Stadium, including a bunch of guys who got there at 10am for sound check! Talk about dedication!
The bridge got a little more crowded as the first half ended, and as the pot smoke rolled in, we knew it was a Hip Show!!
ShannonW and her brother were lucky enough to get handed some free tickets just before the Hip went on, and they were nice enough to give those tickets away to a couple who were thrilled to get into the game.
CTV stopped by, so I might make the 11 o'clock news, and it was pretty warm, so all-in-all a good experience.
Sound was so-so, and we watched most of the action on the big screen... but it was great to see Gord going crazy in front of a national TV audience.
Gus and Courage, I don't think anybody picked that combo.
So that was the scene from the Bank Street bridge! Go ARGOS!
I'm just wondering if anyone knows what model of guitar Gord uses.
I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Just heard the national anthem from the Grey Cup and I had to cover my ears. Just sing it don't change it to suit your taste.
does anyone have any 2004 tour covers? hipcovers.com doesnt have much so far, and thehip11 (jamie)'s site has only up to the mod club shows. i was wondering if anyone else has anything more recent
I've noticed lately, that there are many, many fans just like us, that do not use the hipbase or the internet openly.
Why is that? I saw (in Calgary) at least, 15 people with digital cameras. There was a guy in the 2nd row, with a sweet camera, must have had a 6x optical or something. So where are those pictures?
And then at the end there were about 20 people waiting for a copy of the setlist, well if any of them got one, why haven't they posted?
If each row had 40 seats, let's ay the first 10 rows, that's 400 people all on the internet getting tickets the second they went on sale.....
Why aren't these people here at the Hipbase?
