Well I bought my books the other day and WOW was I in for sticker shock. My anatomy and physiology book alone was $110.00 US used and it is beat and abused. I have 7 days from Drop and Add to return these books so my question is: Have any of you purchased your text books from another source especially online? Have you ever had any problems doing this? I know exactly what books to look for and what edition (ISBN #) and have found several NEW copies for way less than what I payed at the college bookstore. (I know there are alot of 'teacher's editions' out there to avoid)
Anyway, any input or advice would be greatly appreciated!! :thumb:

My dad loves to call any manual shots (Those requiring more than a finger
pushing down a button) "artsy-fartsy crap" and I guess these qualify.
Some I sold, some I didn't, some of them coulda used a mono-pod. but I likes 'em anyway. Some scanned better than others, and there were times when Gord played to my lens.
So here's some artsy-artsy stuff to ridicule. Us pansy photog's will be in
the back playing cribbage and sipping tea with our pinkies out.

I am looking to D/L the video from the benefit last night (I missed it! Tuned in at 8:30! :x )

But that is about as far as I am, I don't know what program I need or where to get it or what to do with it lol

I went down to the CBC once i heard the Hip were playin cause i had to finish my autographed album i had gotten started late last year.They all showed up together as well as Bubbles. They signed the album and were really down to earth.(i think it was because i once again had my hipbase shirt on). Funniest part of the night was when Ricky and Julian pulled up in their ride, julian(or is it Ricky?) got out and had his signature rum and coke in his hand! Met Bruce Cockburn,Daniel Lanois,Barenaked Ladies,Tie Domi,Don Cherry,Bryan Adams and BILLY RAY!!!(the sixth hip member)......it was a great night and i wish i could share the album i got signed with you all as its a classic, Johnny Fay drew a little drumset under his name.....I`ll try to get a good pic of it soon.I got a pic of myself with Paul L but i can`t seem to post it on here?......anyway cheers

Screaming Trees- Dust
One of the most underrated bands of the Seattle explosion. Grungy blues-inspired folk rock from a shaggy group of flannel wearing Pacific Northwest mountain men. It's easily their best record. Unfortunately, it was also their swan song. But what a swan song it is. Thank god Mark Lanegan is still making solo albums.
Buffalo Tom- Big Red Letter Day
Early 90s college-rock at it's finest. Intelligent, honest, extremely well written, and catchy as hell. One of the best break-up albums of all time.
I just signed up for Vonage Canada's VoIP service. $20 a month to Vonage for 500 minutes (local and long distance) and all the calling features one needs (voicemail, call display, call forward) versus $65 to TELUS for a line, voicemail, and long distance struck me as too good of an offer to pass up. Anyone else out there using VoIP? I know that Primus and Sprint Canada are also offering it and I'm sure Shaw and Rogers will offer it before long. Just wondering if there are any users out there what their experience has been to date......
OK so I heard on the radio in the car doing a roving patrol shift that Green Day was going to perform all 9 minutes of Jesus of Suburbia on Carson Daly TONIGHT. I swear he said that, he even said "can't wait". So I got all excited and came and posted here as soon as I got home.
Turns out it was last $@*%#& night...when the show began and I realized GD wasn't going to be on, I rushed to the show's website and found Green Day was on LAST NIGHT!!!
Not my fault. Sorry to disappoint.
