Hello all,
I'm a newbie to the HipBase (longtime Hip fan though) and I was real happy to find such a large trading forum. I'm looking to trade or B&P for some DVDs. I can't dowload shows due to my limited internet access so torrents are out of the question at the moment.
Any takers?

Well between deciding I needed a mac and actually buying one it only took about 48 hours.

I was almost set on buying a used G3 iBook/800MHz, but then stumbled on this sweet deal for a BRAND NEW G4/1.2GHz iBook on eBay. I put in my bid and half an hour later it was mine. Hopefully she comes in this week. Best of all, the seller is just outside of Toronto so shipping is cheap and I don't have to worry about customs fees or any of that BS!!

Anyway, that's my news, and I can't wait for it to get here!

any fan of rock and roll documentaries will love this movie..watched it last night on the documentary channel, and it was one of the most engaging films i've ever seen...tells the story of the dandy warhols, and the brian jonestown massacre(who before this movie, i wasn't really familiar with)..filmed over 7 years, it shows how one band (the warhols) stay somewhat "clean" and over the course of time become succesful, while the massacre fall apart due to drugs and huge egos and shows anton(lead singer for massacre) becoming more and more resentful of the warhols...great footage(the massacre fighting onstage with each other, and fans), great music(both bands are brilliant) and a great film...thumbs up, five stars, all that stuff and more!!!

Can't wait for it to start. Anyone else excited for it. My Michigan State Spartans have a tough road ahead. If they win their first game, they will have to play Syracuse and Duke after. Not a good route for getting to the final four.

so, i am a member of a DMB fan run site. <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.antsmarching.org">www.antsmarching.org</a><!-- w --> . this might just be one of the greatest fan run sites i have ever seen. the depth of the information they have is amazing. they have over 81,000 members of the site/forum. over 900 shows (in shn format) available for free download (servers are down right now).

anyway, short story long, dmb has a new cd coming out on May 10 and they are having a listening party tonite. the guy who runs am.org was invited to go to Virginia and attend the party. admins from 2 other dmb sites were also invited.

it sounds like dmb management invited them to help quell some of the rumors that are floating around about the new cd.

I got an iPod and Im in the process of transferring files from my hard drive to iTunes, and first itunes has to convert the files from wma to aac format before it can be stored to the ipod, so is there a way to make all the windows media audio (wma) files into aac before hand to skip the long step of converting them through itunes? Ive never heard of acc files before so Im not sure if its possible, anybody have any insights here..thanks :thumb:
