Okay everyone. Here's the deal. I've been giving my family hell for not going to the XMAS eve game in seattle. Anyway, my mother just called and said her neighbors (mid-20's) are going to the game and they have an extra ticket. It's in a skybox (dont know where) & there will be about 30 people there. I've never met this couple before but would be driving up & back with them the same day...hell, spending the entire day (christmas eve) with them.
Tell me your thoughts...
Am I crazy to even consider not going d/t family/the holidays???

so i assume many people know about the virgin records contest where theyve posted a poster that subliminally entials 74 bands, one me and my freinds have interpreted as maaybe being the hip.. as well there is the phish 101 songs poster that for all u phisheads can be found at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://wyoming.craigslist.org/clt/107797800.html">http://wyoming.craigslist.org/clt/107797800.html</a><!-- m -->, but i was just wondering if the hip has anything like this.. i didnt think so but i could be wrong, anyway if not i think its a really cool idea. if you have no idea wat im talking abotu you can go to the virgin website or that phish link.. i think a subliminal poster of all the hips songs would be really cool.. just a thought
I was jus tlistening to BOTN and when listening to Pillform#2 I got this uncanny feeling about the song. I felt like I recognised it, but still couldnt quite figure out what it was that I could recognise. I think that it is making me think of a TTH song (which makes sense), but its somthing I cant put my finger on. The points that stand out to me are around the 00:54 and 01:34 points in the song.
Am I alone on this, perhaps just crazy?

I'm absolutely positive that the majority of you have seen Christopher Mills' Macroscopic, and I'm pretty sure a good number of you loved it. Well, for those who have seen it, you know that the imagery and the audio tell two different stories most of the time. That's why sometimes I mute the film when I watch it, and that's why I decided to make a Macroscopic "album". I thought it would be interesting to turn off the lights and listen to it with some headphones, so I ripped the audio from the DVD and burned it to a CD. It was actually quite surprising. The images in my head were completely different from those in the film, and it lead to a much different experience. After listening to it, I decided I could take it farther. I decided to divide it into tracks, since it was basically just a 45-minute lump. Not very listener friendly. While I was seperating it, I realized that I should had to name each track something...
And it went on from there. It quickly evolved into a 26-track "album", art and all. I want to upload it to TheHundredthMeridian.com's wonderful FTP, but I'm concerned with the legality of all this. I mean, since it's my own interpretation and all, I think that if I contact someone in place to give me permission, it'll be fine. Does anyone know if I'm not allowed to do this?
Anyway, I just thought I'd share it with those interested, and I'll happily send it to anyone who wants to give it a listen. But keep in mind that this is a rough cut, and some of the transitions are a bit choppy. The art will probably change, too.
So, tell me what you think of all this.
