Sam plays right after the hip but during the Shins performance.

Has anyone heard of a warm up gig in Vancouver or Seattle? I mean this is a pretty big festival, and the boys have no gigs before then. Let's just hope they won't be as rusty as they were for Live 8

I know I've posted this is the trading forum already, but I figured it couldn't hurt to post here as wel. If anyone knows where I could find any non-commercial, live GD solo material, it would be greatly appreciated! (i've already checked the tracker, not much there, even less being seeded).

I checked the Summerfest website and no mention of the Hip playing at this years fest. However, they haved played there in 95 aqnd 96. This years fest runs June 29 - July 9.

I found this show this morning and realised that I hadn't listened to it, then came accross this version of 100th and thought it was fantastic. . . . pieces of Poets and Blonde Solid etc. . . I know we've had this song a bunch of times, but I couldn't resist putting pu today's version.

Anyway, the info I have is Buffalo, 11/26/something.

I couldn't find a year in my archives or Hipbase, so, any help would be fantastic. Then I can enter the entire setlist with the right date etc. to the archives.

I was hoping for a better lineup than that, I think Ill take a pass this year. Hard to belive its the 20th anniversary of Edgefest, I didn't realise its been going for that long, hell that means I was 8 yrs. old for the first one.

Great news the bootlegs will continue for the upcoming PJ tour. Just got an email..

"Hey PJ Fans-

Some exciting new information about the Official Bootlegs for the 2006
World Tour!

First off, we will be offering multiple audio formats on the 2006 tour.
Downloads in both MP3 (compressed) and FLAC (full resolution) formats will
be offered of every show. The price per show for MP3 will remain $9.99 and
the price for FLAC will be $14.99.

Secondly, to facilitate the increased audio quality and choices for fans,
the shows will typically be available for download the evening following
the performance. In some rare circumstances, it may not be until 2 days
after the show.
Besides audio, all downloads will still include photographs from the show
as well as set list and cover artwork.

timely manner from the venue. The only way to make FLAC available is to
delay the process until the next evening."

Sweeet, I love this concept, although I cant make it to the shows this time around, at least I can still hear them and enjoy them in some way, I love it.

So I guess it's looking more and more like the upcoming shows are going to occur before the release of the new album. That being said, do you think the Hip will still preview new material? Or will they simply use it as an opportunity to play some rarities and warmup a bit for the real tour? I guess in Europe, they could play the IBE stuff and that would seem new.
