I can't believe it's been five years.

I'm watching a number of the memorial ceremonies on TV right now and the whole thing is haunting. I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard about it and I remember getting to a TV just before the second tower came down.

Hey all...
I know that according to all of the places I have looked there are no more Ontario shows planned. But, is there any chance that the HIP might play in Ontario between now and x-mas? With the new album, would they be touring at all this fall... or am I just going to have to wait till the spring to see the hip live again?

I've been to 2 shows this summer... and I want a third!

Any insight would be appreciated.

Are we gonna be able to get this song off of itunes or somewhere else soon or will we have to wait for the album to come out? I don't mind at all waiting for the release of the album, its just I'd like to play it in my car or at home...you know....

Live setlist updater. I know that it's probably not feasible, but honestly, there are few things I'd rather be doing this evening is finishing my Heineken and hitting refresh every two minutes to see what was played.

Can't wait for the reviews. Hopefully some new debuts!

Does anybody have the cd called "Try" that he released last year? Is it any good? Not only does the drummer share the same first AND last name as me, but he is a great drummer also. Mayer is quite a good guitar player supposedly but I've yet to hear him show his chops.

Anyone know if it can be removed/taken off posters? I laminated alot of my Hip posters back in the day,prawly wasn't the smartest way to go,now I want it off.I seen that doods posters he's got for sale on Ebay,Plaque mounted he's got his in,and that looks killer :thumb:

...and all I can say is wow. It was my fourth time seeing them live, and they never cease to amaze me. They played at Stage Nine in Halifax last night, and I absolutely loved it. They were in excellent form.

They opened with a new song (yet to be released), and it was phenomenal.
They closed their set with Mannequin. What a great way to end it. I honestly think the Hip should at least consider these guys for their next cross Canada tour.

Everyone around the Western New York area has probably heard this story to death on the TV and radio and this guy still evades police somehow. There is now a $425,000 reward out there.

He is travelling back and forth from PA to NY in heavily wooded areas where over 200 state troopers search for him and still...nothing.

They have tracked him, had him "boxed in" and there is still no update.

This started back in April when he escaped from a correctional facility in Alden, NY from "kitchen duty." Since then he has stolen 15 cars, 41 guns, and shot 3 state troopers, one of whom died recently after being shot in the leg.

I know this just hit CNN today, and he is now on the FBI Top 10 Most Wanted list along with Osama.
