Another slight diversion from the NHL forum; who does the Hipbase think will win the Stanley Cup?

I realize that a fairly sizable portion of the hockey community on this forum never really had any vested hometown interest in the playoff's (Toronto and Montreal fans), some fans were disappointed with earlier than expected exits (Calgary and Vancouver), and last week, another noticable demographic on this forum lost their will to boast (sorry Buffalo). Regardless, I suspect that there is interest, as everybody, seemingly, either applauds the Senators or passionately despises them. The great divide, of course, is only matched by a greater divide in the house 35 minutes from Scotiabank Place.

Also, is it fair to assume that if Ottawa brings the cup to the capital, Alfredsson will hoist the Conn Smythe? Likewise, if Lord Stanley's mug is set for a cameo on Leno, will Giguere enjoy the honour?

I swear there were more Senators fans on this here board; perhaps they are dwelling in the woodwork until they are comfortable showing support once again... us Senators fan's are generally a browbeaten and defeated group, and understandably hesitant to scream and cheer... but how can we not be excited right now?

The Hip BT Tracker

i'm really diggin this album, but that's not why i started the thread...


there's something fucked up with it...and i don't mean the spooky noises or lyrics or artwork either lol...well, actually it is the artwork...


who owns this album? does this sound familiar at all?


i put it in my computer yesterday...the art on the disc it self was all black, with a second shade of black on it....


when i took it out today...THE FUCKING DISC IS WHITE NOW!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Brand new to the forum, just saw the Hip in Minneapolis and it rocked. My question is about the Hip BT tracker. Even though I am registered for this forum, the tracker seems to require separate registration, right? And if so, it's telling me that membership is full. I can wait and keep trying, as the message says, but I just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly and did indeed have to wait to get an account.

can anyone that has any of these DVDs help seed them to me on the hip trackor. I have been downloading for days now it seems and not getting anywheres fast. Thanks in advance

I wanted to share this story cause it makes me smile every time I think of it...

The story actually involves my brother, who in 1989 helped The Hip get to Saskatoon when the van with all their gear broke down near Wynyard, Sk. My brother happened to have a truck, and was stopped for gas on his way from my hometown (Yorkton) to Saskatoon, so he offered to lug the gear to S'toon. The Hip were to play 2 gigs The Louis, where my brother in turn had his first 2 Hip experiences.

As it turns out he didn't see them again until 1997 (with me) at ARA in Camrose, Ab., where there were something like 30k people. Quite a difference from seeing them at the Louis in 89 where there were supposedly less than 100...

His next Hip experience will be the show at the Bess, along with his little brother :-D (and 3 nephews), who are all traveling from outside Saskatchewan to come home and rock out with The Hip! We are very excited!!!

That chance meeting in 89 that got my brother into The Hip, who in turn a few years later got me into them when he got me Road Apples and Up To Here for my 15th birthday. It's funny how seemingly small events end up being so huge...

Is it physically possible to get just the music off those Hip-scored Christopher Mills-filmed video vignettes on the bonus features disc of Hipeponymous? Or the music AND video, is probably more likely. I don't know much 'bout computers. Thanks very much, anyone who answers.
