Watching the Bourne Ultimatum previews, Bourne says one line which struck me as familiar..."I remember, I remember Everything".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly positive that Gord sings that in the middle of 100th meridian right after "I remember hengelo [or sometimes tokyo]" and just before they start to jam out.

I have a recording of this one, but it gets all clippy at the end. I'm not sure if that was a problem in the original tape or some sort of conversion issue, but I'm wondering if anyone has a better (or fixed) version. It's the one that starts with "this toque will not stay on my head when I groove, it's a grooveless toque" and then has a big rant about King Richard, love affairs, kangaroos, etc, and a bunch of stuff about deceiving Canada Customs. No idea when or where the show was...wait, Gord thanks CFNY at the end, so it was presumably in or near Toronto.

My fiancee and I are going to Austin and Dallas to see the boys. I'm having withdrawal since going to the Boston show in April and missing the show the next day in Hampton Beach as I had to leave due to a family emergency, which of course had to take precedence.

And what's great about this upcoming trip too is that this is a dream come true as my favorite hockey team, the Dallas Stars, are also in town the night after the Hip take the stage in Dallas. Naturally, we're going to the hockey game too.

I was in Dallas a few years back, but never Austin. Anybody know about the club La Zona Rosa in Austin? Namely, capacity. I can't imagine it's that big.

Anybody else going to check out these shows?

After being bombarded by stories of Michael Vick and his alleged ties to dog fighting one of the more interesting stories to surface for me has been the uncovering of what has been described as the "American subculture of underground dog fighting matches/clubs"

Personally I have never been to a dog fight, nor do I know of anyone who has told me that they have been to a dog fight.

I'm interested to see if that statement holds true in our Hipbase community based on where we live...PS. Sorry to our International friends...there just would have been too many poll options to include you guys too...no hard feelings I hope!!
