The commercials for this movie looked extremely laughable, but I heard some good reviews.
Has anybody here seen it and can share some thoughts?
Should I wait until its in infinite reruns on TBS or something?

Levy, Tragically Hip to receive performing arts awards

OTTAWA — Comedian Eugene Levy has made a career out of words - funny ones - but he's nearly speechless about receiving a Governor General's Performing Arts Award.

"There are not a lot of words to describe exactly how good it makes you feel," Levy said Thursday. "I don't think there's a greater honour than being recognized by your country."

Levy is among six notable Canadians who are to receive lifetime achievement awards Friday at the Governor General's residence in Ottawa.

The others are: pianist and composer Anton Kuerti; choreographer and theatre director Brian Macdonald; playwright John Murrell; film director Alanis Obomsawin; and singer-songwriter Michel Pagliaro.

Rockers The Tragically Hip are to receive a National Arts Centre Award and Eric Charman gets a volunteerism award.

The recipients attended a reception by the Speaker of the House of Commons on Thursday in honour of their accomplishments.

The Governor General's Performing Arts Awards are presented each year to Canadian performers "whose extraordinary lifetime achievements have contributed significantly to the enrichment of Canada's cultural life."

Just a couple days from now I'll be boarding a plane and heading off to Vegas with my girl friend and another couple of friends. I havent been on a plane in almost a decade, and I havent been on "vacation" in a really long time. I'm really looking forward to it.

We are staying at the Excalibur because we got a great deal on a package. It's not the best hotel we've heard but its sounds perfect for us, and they just installed a brand new pool area which sounds amazing!

I've been browsing a lot of Vegas forums and websites getting a million "tips" and things to do and see, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any of their own stories about vegas they wanna share?

Any crazy experiences? Although, what happens in vegas stays in vegas, so if you don't want to share I can understand :lol:

New album is coming out later this summer, and I can't wait!

A bit of a scene as the boys went through Centre Block security today. A few staffers and tourists seeking autographs. They were in town for a lunch with Peter Miliken before their GG award. They're being chauffered around town with Eugene Levy and others in huge black limos with "GG Awards" on a card in the window: the star treatment. Good to see the boys creating a bit of a buzz.
