Mav, or anybody else out there who may know or have figured it out.....do we have to continually refresh the page for the passwords to show up or will they come up automatically?? It seems like it's not worth the risk because the page seems to disappear and show that error message.

Are you able to tell us in advance how many tickets we are able to purchase on one transaction, 2, 4, 6 or 8? And forgive me if this has already been discussed, as I have not yet noticed it anywhere.

Anyone know what the deal is for presale purchase for the Kitchener shows? If I go to:

Select "Buy Tickets Online" at the top right
In the menu bar near the top select "Promotions/Presales"

I get a very simple site that says "Enter code". I'm guessing this is where I'll enter the presale code, but there aren't many specifics.

Is it just my computer or is the password not posted yet? I thought it would be up by now.

Seriously, I'm so sick of every band these days releasing tour info and making you buy it the next day. Every band does it these days and I don't know why.

I am extremely grateful that the Hip are gonna play 5 shows in my town, but an announcement today and presale tomorrow? My friends and I would have liked to have gone to as many if not all of the 5 Massey shows as possible, however the lack of time to prepare has made it almost impossible to find even ONE person who can stop working to buy tickets, nevermind having the time to make some credit card payments or make some cash available for this large investment.

Dammit...

This is my first time posting on Hipbase. Hope I can reach some Hip fans in the Northwest US this way.

I will be visiting Portland OR from June 13 to 17 (I'm from Victoria BC) and was floored when I heard the Hip would be playing at the Wonder Ballroom on June 16! I have never seen the Hip in a more intimate setting than the standard arena show.

I certainly want to go, but need to ask a few questions from Hip fans in the know down in the Rose City:
1.) How big is the Wonder Ballroom? Is it usually a general admission venue? Are there usually seats?
2.) Do the Hip sell out quickly in Portland? I was wondering whether it's best to have a friend get me tickets there or should I go through (ugh) Ticketmaster?
3.) Any word on the cost of the tickets?

Hope someone can help me with this.

With the tickets for this tour being $90 + service charges = $100/$110 per seat, are these prices going to effect your plans on seeing any shows?

If tickets were reasonable ($50) I would be trying to make close to 18 of these shows announced today, still a shitload of money but that's what I consider fair.

I believe TTH rely on people going to multiple shows each and every tour, I think all the tickets will sell but a lot of them will go to scalpers and now Ticketnow. I'll be curious to hear if there's any empty seats at the upcoming shows.

So I got the email , saw the release date, but can't see a mention of a Europe/UK release...

Now if I have missed it I'm sorry, I can only blame a dayshift after a run of 5 nights (add to that a complete change of uniform after a small child emptied his stomach on me, and you can see why I'm a bit slow sometimes) but if I haven't, anyone got a heads-up for the branch membership over here?

Been away for a while, with the evening with format announced I am excited to catch a bunch of shows this year and start taping again. I was wondering what guys are using these days?

I have a galaxy Audio HDR 2 and was wondering if anyone has experience with it. I still have my mics and what not from SP. With the new technology out I want to see what people are using? If the HDR is not adequate I will pick something else up.

I plan on attending and taping at least 8 shows and if I can remember my tracker password I will upload them to it.
