Looking for 1-4 tickets to the Fargo show Dec 1. Looks like lots of Winnipeg fans going!

I love to get my hands on a guitar and strum along with my fav tunes but for the life of me I have never ever been able to sort out tabs/chords for songs on my own 'by ear'. I was hoping we could use this place for the casual strummers to learn the new tunes. I'm dying to play along with WWTBI and a few others.

I know there's a dedicated website out there for hip tabs so maybe we can collect the new ones here and move them on over to that site (the website escapes me at the moment) when we have a complete set.

Sometime shortly after midnight, "Now For Plan A" leaked on various torrent sites.

Use this thread to discuss the leak, post impressions, complain about Bob Rock, etc. Leave the non-spoiler folks unspoiled in the other thread, thanks.

If you're familiar with the show each episode has a theme and he talks about and plays songs related to that theme. This week he called on listeners to send in suggestions of songs that mention other artists. The first that came to mind from the Hip were Don't Wake Daddy: Kurt Cobain, Blow: Elvis, Dire Wolf: Canada Lee, Put it Off: Eric's Trip.
Am I missing any?

I purchased 4 floor seats for this show and now only have use for one of the pairs of tickets. Wanted to offer them for sale to this group before unloading them elsewhere.

Pair of 3rd row floor tickets- at cost- $520 for the pair. Great seats in what finally appears to be a true VIP area (compared to the last couple summers).

There are no rumors or speculations out there yet but I have a feeling it will be The Hip. I'm not sure how much they enjoyed playing the Half-Time show back in 2004 but there are a couple reasons why it could be The Hip this year in Toronto. The obvious is The Hip is Canada's band and they will have a brand new fresh record out. Another is that this year's Grey Cup is a major event seeing how it is the 100th edition. And what really makes me think it will be The Hip is that if you look at the USA tour dates they have a bit of a break in the tour which perfectly fits for them to come back to Canada for the game. They play Salamanca on November 17 and don't have another show until they play Detroit on November 28, the Grey Cup will be played on November 25. On top of all that they will be close to the Canadian border with those shows and won't be far south.

Makes sense doesn't it?

I got a tiny bit "trigger happy" trying to get that elusive better seat, so I have a couple of tickets to sell. Best I could do was row C for myself.

I'm selling:

I'll pay the postal fee and/or meet up at the show.

I'll also put these up on ebay, but I have a feeling I'll have a hard time selling these. :roll:
