SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF THE CBCMUSIC.CA
The CBCMusic.ca festival kicks off Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Toronto's Echo Beach. Tickets are sold out, but we've got you covered. You can stream the festival live on CBC Music (and on our mobile site) throughout the day. We'll also be posting photos and videos from the stage, the crowd and behind the scenes to bring the festival experience to you.
PLAYListen to the live stream of the CBCMusic.ca Festival right here, and in the list of web radio stations at the right of your screen. You can also listen on the CBC Music app on your Android, iPhone or BlackBerry.
Those of you that have been live musicians before are familiar with soundchecks. This night, they actually did it as we played. Throughout the first song you can hear the levels being adjusted. Also, I loved playing with a "house" set of drums (It's like a box of chocolates). One time I had to kick the bass drum because they had no bass-drum pedal. Sometimes I had only one crash cymbal...and tuning....forgetta-bout-it.
I learned to bring my cymbals, bass pedal, and tape to muffle (quick tune) a drum.
anyway, enjoy the brief concert......

A Tragically Hip Photography experience coming to fans this summer. MAv. - that's me - will, at select shows - escort a fan and their photography gear around for an exclusive Live Tragically Hip Photo Experience - so you can take concert photos like never before.
I'd like your input as to how to choose the person. A list of shows where this will happen is in the works and the person will need to have a ticket to the show already and be on our email list. I will arrange for their gear to clear security and escort them into the pit and around the venue for part of the show and then back to their seat. I'm thinking it will be about 4-6 songs.
We'll feature your best shots on the site and our social networks and ... this experience will come with a custom "Pigeon Camera" t-shirt too.
In other news, I'll be hosting - tweet-up's - throughout Europe before each show and am looking for locations nearby to gather.
MAv.

I think it is time for someone to make up a new shirt
Fun little project I'm working on is almost ready for release!
Have you ever wondered what Rock bands do when alone in a basement Besides making serious hits that appeal to popular culture?
Many of these ditty's come up during breaks and downtime (waiting for the lead singer to arrive)....improvisational comedies in our case...by request too.

Enjoy
From the vault...
Bands do not just come up with tunes to be played back again and again for others enjoyment. Bands (members) develop improvisation skills and intuition. All of these snippits from the Kevala vault show this...
Here we are at the birth of the band, getting to know each other and testing the boundaries of creativity.

I have a single row 10 on the flr. It's the usual. Face n fees. I don't have my receipt /ticket in the mail yet so I don't know the exact amount. :thumb: pm me or better yet e-mail me mint. Gr. een. Bi. Rd@ao. L.com. First time stamp gets it.
I know this is a long shot but I found out I'll be in Chicago when Pearl Jam is there in July and since the show has been long sold out and many on here are PJ fans, does anybody know a way to get seats for a less-than-ridiculous price?
Thanks in advance! :thumb:
