Until last week I thought that the words in The Apartment Song were "She's horrible asleep..." which seemed to be a pretty witty Gord-ism. Now I know it is simply a witty Me-ism.

Now that MTV has invaded Canada Wink and they have rejuvenated the Unplugged show, do you think the Tragically Hip would ever appear on one?

If so what do you think/hope would be played?

Personally....

Bobcaygeon
Wheat Kings
FireWorks
Good Life
Use It up
Another Midnight
Nautical Disaster
Lake Fever
Grace, Too
Music @ Work
Courage
Ahead By A Century

Ok I've got an new topic.
I have seen the hip about 20 times since my first show at the concert hall in Toronto July 3 '91. I recognize that there are staples which are played to keep the greater part of the crowd happy (such as NOIS, Poets, MAW, Courage etc) but I tend to go to shows hoping to here songs which aren't played that often.
So,
What songs do you think aren't given enough live exposure?
If i had to pick a few they would be....
Coconut Cream
Butts Wigglin'....

Just kidding.....they are:

Opiated
Trickle Down
On The Verge
Fight (which used to be great live with very amusing acting by gord)
Pigeon Camera
Eldorado
Titanic Terrarium
Impossibilium
Apartment Song
Don't Wake Daddy
Let's Stay Engaged
Sherpa
Sharks
Escape
Emperor Penguin

If i went to a show were they played all of these......

I realize it's only been a couple days, but I'd be much obliged if someone who may get this show would trade me for it. I'd like to get it for my American friend who is a big Hip fan who was at the show.

Thanks!!

As I am from Kingston, my friends say they are playing at the "Grand Theatre" in downtown Kingston, it's been anounced, but only locally. I forget the date.

Question: how many REAL rare performnces are there. I think there are many.

For example I attended at concert a Richardson Staduim in August '93, I never kept the ticket or anything because I was only 13. anyhow - this concert is not listed on the net anywhere for example here, nor at killerwhaletank.com.

any thoughts??

What hip song are you most likely to skip?
If you were making a mix cd of all hip songs it would be last!
If they played it live you would consider it a waste of time (this should cause some bickering!).
Mine is:

Coconut Cream

Alright... there's one rule with this game: say the most random thing you can possibly think of.
