Hi,
I've been told about this new compression format from a few people. I wish to share it with anyone interested in sharing files over the net
with lossless quality. Like SHN except much shorter files and therefore a much shorter time for downloading but offering no loss in quality.
The program is free from there site, so for anyone who is interested the address is:

http://www.monkeysaudio.com/dress.

Interested in hearing from anyone regarding this program.

Best to all.

Paul

I read one of the reviews of an edmonton show and Gord D said "I'm 40 and I'm still doing this shit?!"

aw man, I hope they don't think they're getting too old, I don't care about how old they are man, they're always awesome, and I'd hate for IVL to be their last album.

Any input on this point?

Most of us know all lyrics by heart, but how many of us know what Gord S. and Paul are saying in the background. I have my own ideas, but I've never actually seen any backing lyrics printed anywhere. Song like are Poets, Meridian, 50MC(an easy one), etc. Any others? Please fire away.

I was wondering if anyone could do a b&p for the mpeg boston 7-28-02 from the ftp.tragicallyhip.org? I only have a phoneline connection and went to download part one and a message came up saying it would take 33 hours, who the hell has that kind of time? thanks

i, i'm kinda new here, so i didn't had time to go through all the treads.
anyway, i have here 2 pretty good places (6th row) to see the th saturday night show in montreal (12 oct), so:

1. would trade them for equally good tickets to the friday night show (11 oct); or

2. would let them go for 150$ (CAN).

thanks in advance.

please e-mail me at mboily@assnat.qc.ca for details.

If you had to choose a particular series of albums that you find more entertaining, and in general, better, would you pick their Ep to Day for Night, or Trouble at the Henhouse to In Violet Light. It's a tough choice. As a musician, their later material shows more definiton of a group of talent and determination( no will), but being a fan of the early 90's era (ie: Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Silverchair, Nirvana) their early material appeals to me more. Don't get me wrong, all their material is extremely energetic, undeniably awesome, and defines them as the 'Greatest band ever', but if you had to choose, what would you pick, or if it's to tough, what's your favourite album? Just a question from a newbie who has been entranced by the hip for 5 years, but only recently found this dedicated website to be addictive (more then beer, pot, or cigarettes).
