many of the Hip's more popular videos are widely available through file sharing programs such as Kazaa. However, there are some obscure ones, such as Gord Downie's Chancellor, that are impossible to find. if anyone has them, maybe one of the ftps could host. just a thought.
also, i would like to continue to encourage Mr eags to post the hip show in walkerton from this tour on his ftp. pretty please. ciao.

Myrtle Beach, S.C

Bones --at the very end of this song, one very drunk fan jumped up on stage. Gord just stopped and they all walked off. Security was lame at the front, but other than this, it really wasn't needed). After being reassured that security was in place, they came back with the encore.

The worst one I have ever heard is when Gord took a shoe in the head.... They just walked off stage.

Just to get you guys started...these were taken with a disposable camera and flash. Not bad!! Also taken from the front row. Will post a link with the pics of us and the band later this week.

Everyone know the song and we all know that New Orleans is sinking. What kind of crowds do the Hip get in the deep South? I have heard less then 1000, even less than 500 sometimes.

Does anyone here use this?

I know a lot of people do and they've never been negatively effected.
Do you have to turn file sharing on? on their site it says that the files that are shared ar in the Kazaa directory "shared folder"

It doesn't explicitly say other files aren't shared & it doesn't say that they are, either.

Any thoughts/experiences will be appreciated.

Hi folks!

Just curious as to how everyone made out on the ticket front for the Copps shows? With the no ticket limit, I'd be interested to hear how close you got!

M.
(who, unfortunately, has already spent his Hip ticket financial quota for this year... Sad )

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Big Grin
I am soooo excited! Got my ticks for the 12/31 show! Floor 1 row 2. And a room at the Sheraton. Sweet! I am not rubbing it in, but this will be the first time I have seen the Hip in Canada. I can not wait. I am also surprising the wife, she knows nothing. I hope to see some of you guys there!

Cheers!

Chad

heh, anyone else ever had a moment where you've seen someone doing something from the Hip, be it quoting lyrics or a rant.

I was on the transit the other day, and the guy right across from me started going the "shhhhhhhhhhsound.....shhhhhhhhhsound" to himself very quietly. It was pretty funny. Wanted to talk to him but I had to get off the bus.

Anyways, any of you ever had a moment like such? Or ever been quoting and/or singing the Hip to yourself and made an ass of yourself somehow or had someone go "HEY! Thats a Tragically Hip song!"
