Am I right or wrong here:
The last holiday shows in toronto (dec. 31/99 and jan. 1/00) were both sold out right?
Now the upcoming shows at Copps are not sold out yet but are they waiting for both shows to sell out or almost sell out before they announce the special guests???

If, (for example), one of the guests include OLP or BNL and they were announced at the start with the hip, I think the stands would be filled with half hip fans and half OLP or BNL fans. But are the hip trying to sell most or all the seats before they announce the guests so the stands would be full of Hip fans?

Someone please tell me if they've tried this stragedy before because I just figured this out now myself.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great idea....I'm just wondering

Eighteen months ago I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from Drinking Mates 4.2
which I'd used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently
conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and
run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off.
To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is also incompatible with several
other applications, such as Lads Night Out 3.1, Football 2 and Playboy 6.1.
Successive versions of Girlfriend proved no better.
A shareware beta-programme, Party Girl 2.1 which I tried had many bugs and
left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several
weeks.
Eventually I tried to run Girlfriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the same
time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other they
caused severe damage to my hardware.
Sensing a way out, I then upgraded to Fiancée 1.0 only to discover that
this product soon had to be upgraded (at great cost) to Wife 1.0, which I
reluctantly agreed to because, whilst Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my
available resources, it does come bundled with FreeSex Plus and Cleanhouse
2000.
Shortly after this upgrade however, I then discovered that Wife 1.0 can be
very unstable and costly to run. For example, any mistakes I made were
automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They
then resurfaced months later when I had forgot about them. Wife 1.0 also has
an automatic Diary Explorer and E-mail porn filter, and can, without
warning, launch Photostrop and Whingezip!
These latter products have no help files and I have to try and guess what
the problem is myself.
Additional costly problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly,
requiring Shoe Shop Browser for new attachments and also Hairstyle Express,
which needs to be reinstalled every other week.
Wife 1.0 also spawns unwelcome child processes that drain my resources. It
also conflicted with some of the new games I wanted to try, stating that
they are an illegal operation.
When Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Audi TT programme it often crashes or
runs the system dry.
Wife 1.0 also has a rather annoying pop-up called Mother-in-Law, which can't
be turned off.
Recently I've attempted to try Mistress 2000, but there could be problems.
A friend has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects the presence of
Mistress 2000 it tends to delete all my MS Money files before un-installing
itself.
Any ideas ?

Hi,
I was just at a FTP site when I noticed a show recorded in mp2.
After downloading I was able to play it in my Winamp but was unable
to burn it on cd.
Any help as how to turn it into a mp3 or wave file would be greatly appreciated.

What a terrible tracklisting. Only having 14 (or 15 if you're in the UK) tracks is a rip-off, and the songs they've selected are predictable and miss out the more abrasive side of the band's character. A decent Nirvana Best of would be...

Whoever put the official compilation together should be shot. I think I'm going to burn myself a copy of my one.

  server hanging

Lance, I've been experiencing issues with your server recently. Usually I can queue 2-3 files and let them run. Now, however, after the 1st file is completed, the server just hangs on me, and the next file won't start. All I get is an annoying hourglass, like my FTP client is hung, but it's not. I've even resorted to just 1 file at a time, and the problem still occurs, so I have to end up closing my client, and starting it back up again. This is really a pain in the ass, especially since I'd ideally like to queue several files to d/l overnight. Otherwise, it takes forever to get a complete .shn show. Any ideas on what's going on?

im 16 and i live in the bay area of california...and the only people ive ever met who like the hip are the ones who i introduced them to ... but i enjoy it sometimes ...maybe in an odd perverse way Tongue i feel special yey...but then it can get annoying when im listening to my headphones and what not and friends on the bus to school are like what are you listening to ....the tragically hip...whos that...geezus you cant imagine how much that happens..i should just go someone YOU'VE never heard of...meh..
