I just wanted to let people know that I am almost done with preparing the new hip dvds.. I just need 1 or 2 new covers and it'll be set! unfortunately most of the new ones DO NOT have any nice menus (I wasn't the author of them).. I'll try to take a picture of the covers to give you guys an idea of them, but unfortunately they are done in NERO, and come with their own weird file name..

I was thinking of doing another fundraiser or something if people are up
for it.. shout me out some news..

if people are interested in something like this again, then I can also provide the covers/dvd cases as an option since I can provide them..

I will try to have it done by tomorrow!

Hi,

I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I'm new to the whole DVD burning thing (which is weird since I'm a computer science student), but anyway, myself and a colleague are trying to figure things out here at the office before we go and waste our own money on DVD-Rs or RWs or whatever (office supplies rule!).

Right now what we're trying to do is burn some mpeg files that he's downloaded onto a DVD. I know how to burn mpegs to a VCD -- Nero does everything for you anyway, but VCD isn't what we want. Now I've burnt the Wasaga show successfully, but everything was in DVD-ready format already. So I'm guessing what I have to do is convert the .mpeg files to .VOB files so that they can be brought into the TS_VIDEO folder...... correct? But what program do I use to do this, and do I have to use something else to separate the audio from the video?? Geez, I thought I'd be able to find more info on then I have so far.

If anyone could lead me in the right direction I would be very thankful!!

What I love about the hip live is how you can expect to hear a certain change in a song...I guess this is true for a lot of bands, but anyways, Ive always loved the:

i'm not the biggest green day fan, but the new cd is absolutely brilliant...it's getting comparisons to the who, and at first i thought "what th'???"..but...it's a modern day rock opera,and quite a few beautiful mellow songs..yes...beautiful....i was shocked when i popped it in my cd player, and after it had finished, played it again...give it a try...hell, at least they write,perform, and PLAY LIVE!! all of their own tunes..it's real music...let's support it.

For the first time in recorded history, gale force winds have been reported in Hell, swiftly bringing in a cold front off the lake of fire.

Last night, temperature's dipped to an all time low (And I really mean "ALL TIME") and forecasters are calling for even cooler temperatures tonight.

Environment Hell forecasters, reporting from Hades International Airport, suspect temperatures could, possibly, incredibly, drop below freezing later tonight.

Currently, the temperature is 4 degree's celcius... and dropping.

Is there any interest in a recording of the Hip @ festival plaza in Ottawa?
The reason I ask is because the tape seemed to generate little to no interest at all.

If anyone out there wants it then I'll post it or give it to someone who knows that sort of thing better than me.
