in the world of Hip Hop: just like 2004, 2005 is gonna belong to aftermath. The Game is going to blow up huuuuuuuuuuuuuge in 05, his cd is just about ready to drop, it will be the hot shit. Tony Yayo's home, and his solo debut is on the way, 50 Cent's Valentine's Day Massacre will be sure to top charts and push units, and of course, Dr Dre is going to hit us with Detox, which will most likely be yet another landmark album and crush all competition this year, would you expect anything less from the doc? North of the 49th K-Os will continue to be the undisputed king of hip hop and rock the shit out my hometown on the 19th of the first month of 05 :jump!


Metal: Nine Inch Nails are said to be returning to their heavier roots on their forthcoming album, and with that being said how can anyone bet against it being nothing short of another masterpiece? The original Black Sabbath are rumoured to be working on a brand spanking new album with Rick Rubin at the helm in 05, let's all cross our fingers and hope it's true, if it is, undoubtedly a world tour will ensue, and i will at last get a chance to see the Masters Of Reality live in concert! *crosses fingers*! I would expect there will be some sort of Dimebag allstar tribute album coming out, hopefully with the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Zakk Wylde, Anthrax, Lamb Of God and others making appearances. The new Big Dumb Face album will destroy things, granted that it actually sees its release in 05, the short term future of BDF is currently up in the air however as Wes Borland is back with Limp Bizkit cratch:. Last but not least, System Of A Down will step back into the spotlight when they're new album gives the mainstream a much needed kick in the ass.

rock: Billy Corgan's solo album will catch some people by surprise when they listen to it expecting poetry set to lullabies and instead get hit with a smashing guitar and an amp turned all the way up to 11. Queens Of The Stone Age will come back big despite the absence of Nick with another modern day classic. U2's world tour will gross more than any other artist(s)' in 05, i might contribute to that, or i might not...

Why didn’t any other team figure it out first?

The Sudbury Wolves came up with the formula to finally beat the London Knights on Friday. Just take five regulars out of your lineup, take away the team’s head coach, give a few other regulars the flu and call up three 16-year-old rookies.

The Wolves ended London’s 31-game unbeaten streak, beating the Knights 5-3 before 9,096 shocked fans at the John Labatt Centre in London. The unbeaten streak is a new CHL record.

The Knights themselves were short three starters to the Canadian and U.S. national junior teams.

But that paled in comparison to the odds the Wolves faced. They were a depleted bunch Friday night after a line brawl at the end of the second period of Thursday night’s game in Windsor against the Spitfires.


Suspended for a minimum of two games are Wolves defencemen Marc Staal and Adam McQuaid, forwards Zack Stortini, Alex Eaton and Devin DiDiomete, as well as Wolves head coach/GM Mike Foligno.

He received an automatic two-game suspension because DiDiomete came off the bench to join the melee.

Three Windsor Spitfires — Iain McPhee, Steve Downie and David Lomas — were also suspended for their actions during the brawl.

The final suspensions should be handed down Monday, OHL referee-in-chief Ted Baker said from his Toronto office Friday.

“It’s a preliminary review at this point,” he said. “The league hasn’t been able to view the video yet, but based on discussion with the supervisor and referee assigned to the game (Ryan O
’Neill), we have been painted a picture.”

Baker said he doesn’t want to rush to judgment until he gets all the facts.

“I would suggest any time we have multiple altercations on the same stoppage there is a concern,” he said.

“But sometimes when you have this type of situation it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be, though sometimes it is. So we’ll have to see the tape and review it from there.”

Foligno said his players were standing up for each other, and added he didn’t think O’Neill had a very good handle on the game.

“It’s obviously not a good situation, but we have to deal with it,” he said before Friday’s huge win in London. “Unfortunately ... Devin DiDiomete left the bench and was suspended for that, too, and when a player leaves the bench, the coach gets suspended, too.”

Foligno called up three players the Wolves took in the 2004 OHL priority selection to join the team for the rest of the weekend. Back for his second stint of the season is forward Bill Kueneman, along with winger Keaton Turkeiwicz and defenceman Trevor Erdie.

I had a great start to the morning... I dumped a whole cup of coffee on the carpet this morning. Anyone know a good way to get a coffee stain out? I am using some carpet spray on the stain. Not much help at all...
