...has leaked, and kicks major ass! i just just finished dl'ing it, and lemme say, it is every bit as good as I imagined it'd be. Very dark, methodical, moody, with a back to the QOTSA basics approach that harkens back to the s/t, and Rated R. I think we have our first serious contender for album of the year 2005 folks! fuck i love this band! I'll give a full review tomorrow, i got to get to bed and listen to this bad boy again before i pass out :lol:! I will say this though, if you only have time to check out one track from it, get "You've Got A Killer Scene There Man", if you don't like it, you suck, and you need to stop listening to rock & roll and find yourself a new genre.

Hey, first off I just want to say that I've been a member here since damn near the beginning, but haven't gotten around to posting until now. At one time I was a frequent poster on a.m.t-h, but unfortunately activity in that group has dwindled in recent years.

A couple of thoughts spring to mind:

What with the whole file sharing controversy, are the record companies more concerned about losing money on new acts, or losing the lucrative catalog sales of acts that in many cases have long since stopped touring? These are the properties filesharing should hurt most.

And if so, doesn't the fact that the Beatles, for example, remain one of the most lucrative properties out there somewhat undermine their argument?

There's a breaking story in Ottawa today about what appears to be an organized operation who have been bribing bar tenders to either look the other way, or add themselves: date rape drugs to drinks.

What the hell kinda desperate and power starved loser goes this far?

Anybody heard of anything like this elsewhere?

Thankfully, it appears to have been caught early, but it's sure as hell sad and embarassing for this town.
