should i bid on these, or does this look like trouble? i would track down and kill /seriously beat on this person if they sold me bad tickets...


i don't have all that much experience with ebay yet, and there's less than a day left on these...


the price they are at right now is really good for 2 tickets, all i need is one more ticket because i already have one, but i can scalp/and-or/ebay one if i get these 2...

i have Nero as my burner software and i know there is site that has patches so you can burn any type of format in audio. does anybody have that bookmarked or know the address to get it???

How do you Leafs fans feel about this:

TORONTO (AP) - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed unrestricted free agent Eric Lindros to a one-year contract Thursday.
The team didn't release terms of the deal but it was expected to include bonuses based on games played.

Lindros, 32, played 39 games for the New York Rangers in 2003-2004 collecting 10 goals and 22 assists with 60 penalty minutes.

The six-time All-Star won the Hart Trophy as the NHL's MVP in 1994-95. The Toronto native has 356 career goals and 461 assists but hasn't been the same player since suffering a series of concussions.

Hey all,

Its normally a $50 usd league to make but i got it for free :jump

I've got an e-mail from somebody looking for an explanation of: "Blow At High Dough." I haven't found much direct info from the band on the song, so I just added what I could and then recommended she stop by here. Please feel free to add anything to the accumulated rumours I've got below... or even better, perhaps somebody has old interviews from the horses mouth:

"On my website, I've only got the literal reference to Elvis listed, since it's the only sure thing. But for years, the feeling I've heard on "Blow" has been this: The song deals with the way a woman can hold a certain sway over a man. There's the phallic imagery "get it out, stretch that thing," "the further it's gonna go" and the "blow" itself, but there's also the fact that the taxi driver is "thrown off" by passion. Some feel the "blow at high dough" to mean once a man is tempted (a woman presenting herself, or a boat load of money) all his reason goes out the door.

Elvis himself was said to truly love Anne Margaret (Gord often adds her name to the song live) and was believed to always harbour regret that he didn't marry her when he had the chance. What he did do however, was marry a very young Priscilla: "How'd she move so fast, move so fast, into that wedding ring." The fact that the preceding lyric is the somewhat cruder: "Whoever fits her usually gets her, it was the strangest thing" suggests that perhaps the song was inspired by an... easygoing... girlfriend who once wronged Gord, hence inspiring the "femme fatale" view of women in the song.

The Elvis stuff may have worked it's way into Gords thinking as the band wrote and recorded "Up To Here" in Memphis in 1988. It's also interesting to note that in the case of Elvis (marrying at the drop of a hat) and the "Taxi Driver," (Deniro's "Travis Bickle" -Gord was a film student remember) both were willing to do (or inspired others to do) irrational things for women."

Random Thoughts on Internet Forums(as observed by a neutral poster); What follows is a collection of unrelated, incoherent observations and thoughts regarding internet forums.

The written word can be much less expressive than the spoken, and can also be misread. Sarcasm translates particularily poorly to text as it requires subtle changes in tone to detect as well as an understadning of the mood of the speaker/writer. Sarcasm should be avoided on forums only to avoid misunderstandings.

Cehck yoru spellign.

Criticism is meant to help one develop or hone thoughts or skills, not to offend. I believe many confuse criticism with opinions, and usually opinions are taken personally, often resulting in defensive actions. Those giving criticism should post unbiased comments, not personal feelings to circumvent misunderstandings.

Examples as spoken by a prude:
Critique: "For a better effect, the song could be louder."
Opinion: "The song was too quiet for my tastes."

Forums weren't designed as a venue to vent daily frustrations on others. CAPS SIGNIFY RAISED VOICES. <----- A period following this statement is highly ironic.

Punctuation is quite important signatures are sometimes larger than posts.

Contributing to a thread isn't always necessary.

Posts that are as follows are very frustrating: "I know the answer to that question<end post>" or "I have information of which you are not aware<end post>" Prodding for answers from these posters seems only to aggravate the condition which causes this self-gloating.

Thread titles can often be deceiving.

I have a question for you video camera geeks.

What do you guys think of the Sony CCD-TRV68 camera? I recently aquired one, needs a battery and cables etc. I can not really find any good info.
